What does a day at retreat look like?
Our days are filled with plenty of time for rest, connection and relaxation. We typically start each day early with a check-in and ground rules, then a break for breakfast (and cleaning up) before the first official session. There is a long lunch, then we have 1 or 2 afternoon sessions, followed by a late dinner. In the evening there is a session to wrap up the day. Thursday, women start arriving at 4 pm to get settled in. Dinner is at 7. We end late Sunday night, which is why you have a place to stay Sunday. There are no activities on Monday, just time to pack, eat and head back to your lives.
What kind of “sessions” will we be doing?

Ann has used her psychology background, as well as her extensive training and facilitation experience to create sessions that allow for the evolution of the amazing woman you are, into an even better version of her. Those sessions include Mastermind, activities, partner work, journaling, sharing, discovery and a powerful closing ritual.

Ann is a gifted intuitive with an advanced degree in psychology who places that gift on the group attending and then crafts the weekend based on what her guides tell her. There are 3 to 4 sessions a day.

What is a Mastermind?
Mastermind is a word created by Napoleon Hill in his book: “Think and Grow Rich.” It is a group principle he defined as: “The coordination of knowledge and effort of two or more people, who work toward a definite purpose, in the spirit of harmony.” At Retreat, Ann will lead you through a Mastermind group. We all have the same spirit of harmony to listen and reflect for each woman, hear why she is there, what she is saying, and how they align to living her best life.
Where do I sleep?

Where you sleep is dependent on the ticket you buy,  answered in the next question: Which ticket I should buy?

Which ticket I should buy?

If you know this is what you want, Ann has created a ticket that will be right for you. There are 5 choices.

  • The first ticket choice is “Luxury Single”. Here you have your own private space and bed. For even more privacy,
  • There are a limited number of “Luxury Single with Private Bath”. Private rooms (no roommates) are always the most limited and go quickly.
  • The next ticket is “Bring a Queen”. This is a ticket for TWO PEOPLE. Think of it like “bring a friend.” You will share a room (and possibly a bed) together.
  • For a bit more privacy there are a very limited number of “Bring a Queen with Private Bath” This is a ticket for TWO PEOPLE. Think of it like “bring a friend.” You will share a room (and possibly a bed) together.
  • The last ticket is the “Slumber Party”. This is a popular ticket choice, as it is an AMAZING price point. Slumber Party means sleeping “wherever.” Air bed, casita, couch, day bed, under the stars….it gets creative! We always make sure there is plenty of slumber party room based on tickets sold.

ALL tickets include Ann’s life-changing sessions, 4 nights stay, and food (more details about food in the question What kind of food are we eating?)

What if I cannot pay for the entire ticket at once?

Ann is happy to do a payment plan! Please reach out to her at ann@zenaenterprises.com (or messenger on any social media) to make arrangements!

Where does Retreat happen?

Ann selects a home in California for this retreat. She works hard to find a beautiful home with space and accommodations she needs to make it a delightful experience. She ensures that there is an airport within an hour. Because Ann gets women connected before Retreat, many coordinate flights and driving to the location.

We attempt to book the location as soon as possible. That is dependent on revenue from ticket sales, so the sooner tickets are booked the sooner a location can be secured! The actual address is shared with ticket holders only.

What if I don’t know anyone?

You will fit right in! Honestly, you will be amazed at how quickly you make lifelong friends. And if your heart is whispering you need this, then it’s a right fit! It’s time to block out the dates and pick a ticket that fits for you!

What’s included in the ticket price?
Your ticket includes: 4 nights sleeping accommodations, dinner Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, food you can make for breakfast and lunch, all the powerful sessions Ann runs throughout the day, fun and relaxation and even some wine! It’s the best “grown woman’s summer camp”! A resort get-a-way with personal development attached!
What should I bring?
Pack to enjoy and be comfortable. Bring your creature comforts. Things that make you feel happy. Overpack if you want. This is a comfortable, casual environment, so there is no need to overdress every day unless that is you! Ann always emails women in advance if there is anything special she would like you to bring.
What kind of food are we eating?
The menu will be filled with healthy, gourmet, quality food. Ann brings eggs, non-dairy milk, cereal, fruit, cheese and spinach for breakfasts. She typically grills some chicken for lunches, salads, or sandwiches. There are always leftovers from the amazing meals she makes for dinner! Ann will do her best to accommodate allergies or dietary restrictions (make sure you let her know in advance.) There is always room for you to bring your favorites if you are particular.
How are meals handled?

Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings Ann cooks a delicious, healthy, gourmet-quality meal for everyone. Breakfasts and lunches are “on your own.” There will be lots of food to choose from and there are always leftovers from dinners to be enjoyed. Often these meals become a collaboration and the creative results shared with anyone who is interested. You can contribute, create, or just eat.  The kitchen becomes a fun communal space for everyone. Even if you don’t cook there is a way to pitch in.

If you are a snacker, you might want to pick up a few favorites before you arrive.

What ages are the women attending?

Women range in age from 35 to 75+. We find that the commonality is that these are strong women who have been through much in life: success, loss, failures, abuse, and came out the other side.
