Commitment to The Plan

Day12LunchLiving a healthy lifestyle is an important part of my success. Recently my husband and I decided to go back on The Plan (an eating program developed by Lyn-Genet Recitas.) Two years ago we did it and had tremendous results, learning about the food we eat and what keeps us healthy and energized. Since then we have continued to eat healthy, trying programs from other doctors and nutritionists. Of course the goal is always to stay healthy. Sometimes changing your eating habits keeps your body sharp and in tune.
I wanted to go back on The Plan because I felt that it really helped the first time we tried it. I felt like I needed to re-test foods and how they are impacting my body, energy and emotions once again. The Plan, I knew, was how to do that.

Starting The Plan has been work! I’d forgotten that part. I think she named it The Plan for a reason! It takes planning, preparedness, prep, you name it! I have flashbacks now from two years ago and just being exhausted from all the food prep, cooking, and time spent in the kitchen. The funny thing is that much of the food is raw, but there is pretty strict menu plan that she wants you to use in order to have success.

The Plan absolutely works. Even just five days in I’ve already lost several pounds of weight, my energy is better, and I’m sleeping better!

It’s interesting to me because one of the things I tell entrepreneurs is that being successful in making the money you deserve and desire takes work! For example in my MasterMind one of the things they have to do is build a resource around their knowledge, it’s step two of the program. This takes a dedication to really do the work do the writing get in your mind clear about what it is you really do and how you can organize it. It’s a commitment, just like The Plan is for me if I want to have this healthy lifestyle.

Are you willing to make that commitment and have the kind of lifestyle or business you want?

What do you want to be when you grow up?

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Lately, this question has led to a journey in my life. It’s a very interesting question, BE when you grow up. What we really talk about is what we will DO, not be. I do speaking, coaching, and personal development.

I am good at what I do.

But have I really learned to BE what I am intended to be?

Ok, deep huh! I am on a journey of being, versus doing. For the first time in my life, I am allowing it to be. Being is all about this vision. This vision of working with entrepreneurs on the REAL shit, not just sales and marketing.

And it’s funny when I talk with friends, they always m

ove the conversation to doing! So I step back and just BE with the idea or suggestion. I find just being hard. For example, I recently had an experience with my husband that was very much being: present. In the moment. Connected. IT WAS AWESOME. Then two days later I found myself trying to recreate that moment, doing what it took to have all of that again. And guess what? It sucked! I needed to just BE again.

Now don’t get me wrong, to have tremendous success, I need to DO THINGS. There is no way around it. BEing is powerful shit though. BEing is about real visibility, truly allowing the Warrior to become vulnerable…that kind of being

is powerful.

This process of being is the cornerstone to my newest program True Transcendence: A Warrior’s Journey to Success and Happiness.

Can you Be versus do? Can you define yourself without talking about the things you do?

Limiting Beliefs and A Warriors Journey

warrior-preneurLimiting Beliefs. All of us have them. Oh ABSOLUTELY I have limiting beliefs! Like you, I have to be consciously aware of them, and battle them. Limiting Beliefs can stop your ability to be self-confident, to build a wildly successful business….to EARN what you deserve with ease. Limiting Beliefs can be THE thing, even when you KNOW in every fiber of your soul that what you offer is so powerful, that stops the world from investing in it. See reality is this: I HOLD ME BACK. (Same for you *wink*)

Limiting Beliefs: I have one – one that I have to deeply work on…wonder what it is? I did a little digital audio about it, and some insights about how to change it, and change YOURS. Curious about mine? Ready to change your limiting beliefs?

Funny thing? Is when limiting beliefs are deeply entrenched, they are hard to see in yourself. The obvious ones are not the ones we often really need to battle…it’s the secret ones, the deep rooted ones.

The ones I talk about in my book, The Influence Factor, and how you have to REWRITE the TRUTH.
