You are not paying attention. I saw this posted on facebook recently and it struck me. See, I used to live “scared” all the time.  Scared of abuse, violence, yelling, fighting. Scared of loneliness, homelessness and poverty. I know what it feels like to wake up scared. For me I can pay attention and not be scared. I know what it feels like to be scared to “do” or “say” anything. I need to pay attention and not be scared. Because scared paralyzes me. Because scared stunts my creativity. Becasue scared puts me in scarcity mode over abundance. Because scared makes me reactive versus proactive.

Oh, I’m paying attention alright. And I’m not scared. Because I know how to live with joy, laughter and love. I know who to embrace those that treat me crappy and then let them go. I know how to surround myself with people that see me so much bigger than I see myself.
