Becoming INfluential is a journey, not an event. And success requires more than just focusing on ONE THING. Years ago, I remember seeing Laurel Langmeyer speak. She said: “your house must be in order, if you want to be successful as a work from home entrepreneur.” She proceeded to talk about the importance of home organization, when do you do your laundry? Are the piles organized, and out of your way? How have you organized your children when you work? A sound argument that home gets in the way when working from home! That the things in your home can get away from your success in your business.
I have realized that in order to be your most INfluential business self, you must be willing to take the journey from with in. Your six core influencers of your life and the balance of those core influencers in your life, will ultimately lead to greater success in any thing you want, including a successful business. That is what my course, Vision of Your Influential Self will teach you.
So when I hear: “your house must be in order, if you want to be successful as an entrepreneur,” I hear that you must work on these influencers in your life to create the balance you need to be successful. In graduate school I developed a program regarding these influencers, and have had the honor of working with abused teems, high achieving women, corporate leaders, even entrepreneurs to develop their most influential self.
For example, one of the six core influencers is related to health. Over some struggles in my personal life my health was out of control. I was 35 pounds overweight, tired, depressed, and not taking care of myself. My business was affected by that. As a matter of fact one of the other six core influencers in your life is career!
To be influential you must understand the six core influencers and work on them
Becoming the vision of your most influential self requires that you look with in. It’s a willingness to understand that you become the best you and all areas of your life when you do not neglect any of them. Over the next few weeks I will share these core influencers and give you ideas about how to work on them to become your most influential self.
For right now, are you looking within? Are you wanting to become your most influential self?

So if you might’ve noticed I have taken a significant time off from blogging! I really needed to take the time and go within. I made one of the biggest, most critical mistakes entrepreneurs can make.
See, it’s really easy to fall into the trap of “I can do that.” What do I mean by this? I mean that as entrepreneurs, we often see opportunity in everything. We often believe that just because we are good at it, we should monetize it. And trust me my ass can monetize anything! But that doesn’t mean I should.
So over the last few months I have had to go within, and get clear about who I am and my most authentic calling.
It has also meant saying no to things that might make me money…right now. Because I want to be known for the things I am most authentically passionate about. The funny part? Is that I’ve always tried to weave what I most love into the things I even monetized. But my heart, and soul were not happy.
Here is what I know is true about me (and has been true for years):
I am great at breakthroughs(mine and others)
I am great at influence
I am great at achieving beyond wildest dreams
I am great at showing others that they can do it too and how to do it not just that they have it in them!
So I hope you are ready to bring on your Warrior-Preneur fself! Let’s make it happen! I hope you are excited read this blog and the journey it might lead you on with me. As you look around the site you will see new clarity and focus- that is yummy as my friend Tambra Harck says!
Have you ever made a critical mistake like this leading you from your most authentic calling? Entrepreneurs or not, we often get lead down paths that are not true to US!

I’d had an epiphany recently as a coach about my coaching programs. Might be simple to most, but for me it was a big ah-ha.
See, there are three kinds of people out there:
Those self disciplined enough to do the work and actually finish it. These people learn it, run with it and make it happen. They are great in high level coaching or training programs, because they will, after the session, get it done (whatever get is done is).
Those that need the accountability to get the work done, then you do it. These are people who need the “swift kick” if you will! They need a coach that will hold them accountable to the work. they are great when they cannot “do the next thing” unless they get the first thing done.
Those that need someone to walk them through it, do it with them. They need hand holding, they need a guide and teacher with them, showing them until it is complete. They are best in a structured environment with a coach that works with them to get it done.
I knew I’d ask Debe Bloom to share- she is truly a giving heart and spirit! The picture below is HER- she is sunshine without a doubt!
What inspires you each and every day?
Debe: “Without trying to sound like the world circles around me, my own growth inspires me…and how far I can comfortably ‘push’ myself. Knowing I can help myself, I know I can authentically help others. I am on a growth mission, for all…since I believe that I can’t help others unless I’ve walked the walk myself.”
What part of your life did you once assume was ordinary that you have found inspires others?
Debe: “This actually shocks me a bit: In my ‘previous life of 23 years’, every time I voiced an opinion, it was diminished into the worthless category. After I woke up and moved on, my thoughts and voice became valuable to others. Today, that same voice has helped so many people — and when they share their gratitude, it tickles me. Being able to coach and mentor others is very important to me.”
What is one of the most important lessons you have learned in life?
Debe: “Every single one of us has value and importance. We are each experts at what we do—from being a CEO of a major corporation to working at the local hamburger stand– and although our confidence can get out of balance periodically, everyone is special. So that knowledge coupled with the knowledge that there is a positive lesson in each episode of our day, will help make a worthwhile life. As my mother used to say (and I’m sure many other mothers quoted), there is a reason for everything. Finding that reason is the key.”
Debe is the youngest of 4 who shared most of her life with a twin sister, who is putting one foot in front of the other, moving forward and sharing that message with others. Debe Bloom, Certified Confidence Coach, www.debebloom.com www.facebook.com/DebeBloomCertifiedCoach 805.659.3323

Fiona Stolze is a catalyst for what is happening here. I adore her. And her story is awesome.
I asked Fiona to share in her words with you. (And she is not an American, so I LOVE her English answers!) What inspires you each and every day?
Fiona: “The opportunity in everyone and everything around me to see myself more clearly and let go what I no longer need. I get inspired through knowing that everything is being looked after and that my job is to fully be who I am and express that in all that I do. I get inspired by selflessness of others and their willingness to boldly step out and go where no man has gone before 🙂 I get inspired by the growing love in my heart for who I am and extending that to others. And I get inspired by the divine perfection of everything in the eternal now. My greatest love is coming home to who I am.”
What part of your life did you once assume was ordinary that you have found inspires others?
Fiona: “I went through most of my life believing I was totally ordinary and didn’t think I had anything of value to offer. As events unfolded and I moved through many deep experiences that allowed me to see my true nature, I was surprised to discover that people liked listening to my voice. And it took a lot of coaxing to bring it out of the closet and start freely sharing it with others in both sound and written word. I now make videos, interview people, write extensively and do blogtalkradio giving spiritual guidance to others. When I received feedback about the impact I was having on others, I realised that it was something that had little to do with me. Knowing that it came from a space deep within allowed me to stay in a space of humility and let it flow without touching it. The same applies to my artwork.”
What is one of the most important lessons you have learned in life?
Fiona: “Not to criticise or judge what wants to be expressed through me. There are no mistakes in life and everything is in perfect order at all times whether or not I want to see this. So receiving what moves out from within and recognising that it comes from a deep place that my mind has not touched. Receiving with deep gratitude for everything exactly as it comes without needing to change or resist it in any way. I am exactly where I am meant to be right now – no mistakes. So just deeply accepting everything and being with it, regardless of what my mind wants to think up. Those big ideas that quietly and certainly step in are there to take us to the next step. Trust is the key.”
