I love the word awesome; we should bring back awesome. I always have. Ok, yes it started in the 1980’s when awesome was, well, awesome! I remember going to the Puyallup fair and getting this spray paint art that said “awesome Ann” and hung it in my bedroom.
Let’s bring awesome back. We all deserve awesome. Awesome is inspiring. Awesome is fun. Awesome is being a great you, every day.
Awesome is doing you. Awesome let’s others be them. Do you want to bring back awesome with me?
Thank you Tanya Boggs for the great picture!

I have been pondering the phrase “heart centered entrepreneur” lately. It strikes me as odd. ok, wait, here me out! First of all, I don’t know many entrepreneurs that aren’t heart centered. It takes heart to do it alone. It takes heart to build it. It takes heart to want to be successful. It takes heart to keep going when everyone around you says you should get a “day job”.
For me, being an entrepreneur is heart centered.
Second, I have noticed that many of the people calling themselves this, or saying they work with “heart centered entrepreneurs” use fear as their marketing tactic. Fear to get you to buy. Fear to get you to sign up. Fear to get you to optin.
Ponder this. Do we need to use fear if we are heart centered?

1 million women, ordinarily extraordinary inspiring our lives! What an amazing vision! Today I am excited to share a woman I adore– Laura:
What inspires you each and every day?
“Laura: When I wake up in the morning, I run (not walk) to my computer to turn it on…then run (not walk) to the coffee pot to make a cup o joe…. Why? because I figure I have about 30 solid minutes before I have to wake up my daughter for school, at which point my hat changes from Mompreneur to mom… I go about the daily routine: iron clothes, feed the dog, pack lunches and make breakfast…make sure she has everything in her backpack and by 7:15 we are on our way to school which is no longer the days of the past where the school is in your neighborhood… it is about 12 miles away (one way) in LA traffic – oh and it is not free! As we loop around the corner just to make it in with a minute before the tardy bell rings my daughter gives me a kiss goodbye and says “I love you mom”… I realize that everything that I do…Everything that inspires me to be the Mompreneur that I am, comes from my biggest inspiration – my daughter. I am inspired to be a successful Mompreneur because working for myself allows me to be both a mom as well as a positive role model for my daughter. I am inspired to shine for HER – so that she one day will also be a positive role model for her children and a leader in this world, equally.”
What is one of the most important lessons you have learned in life?
“Laura: I have learned to get everything in writing. Many times we are naive and we think everyone will always be fair. Not the case. In business, always have a contract. Nothing personal, it’s just business.”
I am speaking at Laura’s event this fall (see the pink “I’m speaking” banner to the right?) She is the most amazing connecter I have ever known. And she once thought that was ordinary, that everyone did it!
Laura is the center of influence, a blogger and she connects people. She helps bring brands, businesses, influencers, women and moms together. She hosts an annual BLP ConnectHER Conference and Influential Event I can be reached at: laura@bagladypromotions.com or by visiting http://www.bagladypromotions.com http://www.blpconnect.com http://www.herreview.com

I asked Julieanne to answer some questions for me, in her words. My hope is you hear her heart and spirit and are inspired.
What part of your life did you once assume was ordinary that you have found inspires others?
Julieanne: “This may make you laugh. I originally got on facebook to keep in touch with the grandchildren. Then Facebook morphed and I began to use it for connecting and business. Ordinary, right? Then I began to share what touches me deeply, favorites quotes, things I’ve learned, wonderful photos with great quotes. My discoveries of things on my journey. I get lots of quotes and photos and see lots of them but I choose only a few. Sometimes they are funny and sometimes they are deep and sometimes they ring so true, I wonder why the bells aren’t tolling! Others do this too, ordinary like everyone else. Then I went to a networking function one day and one woman was so excited to meet me. She said that I had no idea how much she looks forward to what I post. It makes her feel good and she loves that I do inspirational items and mix it up with some humor too. Then it happened with another at another meeting and it’s continued. Sometimes what they say to me blows me away. I want to say I’m not who they think I am, I can’t be all that. I’m learning to say thank you instead. But that little ordinary thing of sharing what touches me has created extraordinary responses.”
What is one of the most important lessons you have learned in life?
Julieanne: “That my life is my doing. No one outside of me can take any credit or any blame. I blamed everyone for anything that I didn’t like in my life for many, many years. I took no responsibility for the unsavory. I was only willing to take responsibility for the good that happened. If it was bad, it was someone’s fault, mostly my mother’s with some others thrown in the mix.”
As I shared in the video, Julieanne not only practices this in her own life, but with others as well. Who are you and what to do you?
Julieanne: “I am trained in Reconnective Healing™ and The Reconnection and I love doing sessions with people. These sessions are transformative on so many levels and some of the results may not be seen right away and other times they are dramatic. It is all based on the individual and where they are in their life. I love taking photographs to capture the beauty of life too. I love to cook, gourmet organic food, dance, talk, sit and be still, watch the ocean and listen to the ocean. ”
Ordinarily extraordinary right? What inspires you about Julieanne?

My dream is to share amazing women with you, my vision: to inspire 1 million women to step into their personal power. I want each week to share a women who inspires me with you. As I manifested what this looked like, I realized it wasn’t about super famous or rich, they are women are like me. They are what I call “ordinarily extraordinary.”
These women were once warriors fighting the wrong battles. Now they know the right fight.
Some have even been angels (we are all angels here on earth) whose wings are broken. Now they soar above the drama.
They are amazing, funny, loving and forgiving. They embrace other women. They understand LEAD. EMPOWER. OWN. Each will share with you, straight from their hearts, and I will share a little video as well.
In my book, The Influence Factor, I share a key element that all of these women possess: Empower Your Truth. They have reclaimed the stories that make them who they are, and have stepped into it beautifully.
I am excited to share, I hope you will be inspired by the “ordinarily extraordinary” women!
